The Art of Pave Setting

Pave (pronounced pah-VAY, from the French word for "paved") refers to a setting technique where small diamonds are set closely together with minimal visible metal between them. The result is a surface that appears to be "paved" with diamonds, creating extraordinary brilliance.

Each tiny diamond is held in place by small metal beads or prongs, allowing maximum light to enter from all angles. This creates a continuous flow of sparkle that complements and enhances your center stone.

Pave Variations

  • Classic Pave: A single row of diamonds along the top of the band - elegant and refined.
  • Micro Pave: Even smaller diamonds set even more closely for a delicate, fine look.
  • French Pave: V-shaped cuts between stones create a distinctive pattern and allow more light.
  • Full Eternity: Diamonds completely encircle the band for sparkle from every angle.
